Gold Star Monument Dedication

Description

The Ohio Gold Star Families Memorial Monument Committee and the National Veterans Memorial And Museum invite you to the dedication ceremony of a new monument on museum grounds that will honor, recognize and serve Gold Star Families and the legacy of their loved ones. Ground breaking for the monument happened in May 2022. Since then, the committee has been raising funds and awareness about the importance of providing a space where gold star families can call their own. Additional funds raised support the Woody Williams Foundation scholarship fund for Gold Star children. This special ceremony, held on Gold Star Families Day,  will be outside on the Rooftop Sanctuary and the Memorial Grove. The museum is open all day leading up to the ceremony and your registration is free. We look forward to you joining us for this dedication on September 29th!
